Honestly, this is hard to do.  I have so many favorites resources.  But I'm going to narrow it down to just a few suggestions in several categories. Stockpiling.   When I was growing up in a small town in Oklahoma, I can remember a few people who "stockpilers."  They collected water and canned food along with batteries and flashlights and stored it all in their fallout shelters where they'd be safe in case of a nuclear attack.
