Y’all, Praying for Girls: Asking God for the Things They Need Most will release in less than four months.
It still feels surreal to me. I’m waiting on the final round of edits and working on all the book launch preparations and basically every day pinching myself because I can’t believe this is what I get to do!
And yet I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that writing a book about praying and parenting is far easier than actually praying and parenting. Because some days I’m tired, most days I’m busy, and every day raising this daughter is more than I can possibly do without God’s grace, wisdom, and mercy.
You get that, right? I thought so.
Being a mom is amazing … and overwhelming.
With every new season and phase in Casiday’s life, there have been new challenges and new joys. She’s seventeen and finishing up her junior year in high school. I look at her and think how amazing it’s been to raise her. But I also wonder what the next season will hold and where the road will take her. {I’d be lying if I didn’t admit right here and now that I hope her road is pretty close to ours! But since I’m the girl who moved off to go to college and until about 18 months ago lived at least nine hours away from her parents, I suppose I can’t be too demanding about that, right?}
Anyway, one of the big things I’ve been working on in connection with the book is understanding how I can best encourage moms and what tools and resources are really needed. So, here’s where I ask for your help.
Can you complete this short survey for me and share it with the moms you know? It’s just three questions and I promise won’t take more than 10 minutes to complete.
THANK YOU so much for taking a minute to answer this survey!
You’re the best!!
xoxo,
Teri Lynne
