Oh y’all! I cannot begin to explain how excited I am for October! This is the fifth year I’ve taken the 31 Days Blogging Challenge and I am more excited about this series than any other I’ve written. It’s going to be amazing … I just know it. Here’s what I have planned …

31 Verses to Pray for Your Girl.
Starting Wednesday I’ll be sharing a verse and a short prayer every day for the month of October. That’s it — we’re just going to pray Scripture on behalf of our beautiful girls. If you have a daughter — baby, teenager, or full grown momma herself — this is for you. If you aren’t a girl momma but you’ve got a boy who one day will be looking for wife — this is for you. If you teach Sunday school or third grade or a college composition class and there are girls you influence — this is for you. And, if you’ve been feeling weary and worn, needing a season of encouragement from the Lord — good news, my friend, this is for you too!
Pray these verses for your daughters, granddaughters, sisters, nieces, students, peers — or even yourself!

I am here and already on my knees. This is exactly what is needed for the season I’ve just entered. Just when I got used to smooth sailing I’ve been hit with two teens/tweens. That are girls. Two completely different personalities. Two identity crises. I’ve had more “where did I go wrong” moments than I care to even own up to as of late. Someone save me. I am drowning.

For my 2 girls. My oldest (14) is a freshman in a private high school after being homeschooled for 9 years. It is a big adjustment for her. My youngest (10) is in 5th grade and homeschooled.

I love these prayers , my thought is to print them, put them in a journal and give them to my girls. I am also going to include their favorite verses. The only drawback is finding something similar for my boys. LOL thank you for having these prayers everyday. I see it in my girls lives everyday.

I am praying for my soon to be 14 year old and 9 year old daughters, their friends and the future wives of my 16 and 8 year old step sons. My family has been through a very hard time this year and I think this is just what we need to bring us closer to God and closer together! Thank you for what you do!

Feeing anxious and overwhelmed thinking about the future, especially for my oldest girl. I just want time to slow down. I don’t like this growing up stuff! Glad I found your site, and I know it will be meaningful for me to focus on specific prayers for my sweet girls! They are 16, 12, and 9.
