I read a lot.
Like around 100 to 150 books a year, on average. I pretty much devour the written word. If you are on Goodreads, I’d love to connect. Please send me your recommendations!
People ask me what I’m reading with some regularity. And I love looking through the reading lists of others, like my friend Sandra. So, I thought it would be fun to add a reading list here. So, in no particular order, here are the books I’ve read this year. {If I’ve done a review, I’ll add the link to that as well.} Also, you should know, most links are affiliate links so should you decide to purchase through them, you’ll be taking a little bit of pressure of my sweet husband who works hard to pay for my book addiction. 🙂

I love book lists! We’ve read quite a few of the same books, and I need to add some of these to my “to read” list.
Teri Lynne Underwood says
Shocking, huh, that we’ve read many of the same books. I always find such gems on your list. I need to update my Goodreads “to read” shelf. 🙂
Laura says
I have read 10 of those. I actually reread the Hunger Games series last weekend. Good books. I have read more this month than I have all year.Signing up with Netgalley was a good bad thing. FYI- my reveiw of your book is on my blogtoday.
Teri Lynne Underwood says
Saw the review … I’m sharing the link on Facebook and Twitter! Thank you!!
Pattie says
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE. You totally outread me. TOTALLY.
Teri Lynne Underwood says
I have a little more time than you do since I only have one daughter to get to and fro AND I’m not teaching a college class. 🙂
Pattie says
True, although I still manage to get 100-120 per year (goal is 10/month) and people think I’m crazy. So I can’t imagine how crazy they think you are!?!?!?!
I have another friend who reads crazy-fast too so we are NOT alone in this world of reading a lot. (PS: Finished #27 last night, still have about 8 nonfiction going at a chapter apiece that I rotate around.)
Pattie says
Also, do you know you have a duplicate? 44 & 45
Teri Lynne Underwood says
Thank you … I didn’t realize that. Guess that makes me only at 55. 🙂
Kris says
Woweee! That’s an awesome list, Teri Lynne! 🙂
Teri Lynne Underwood says
Thanks, girl! I’m just glad to have your book on it … and I imagine it will be one with the ** for a re-read next year! 🙂
Jean Wise says
I loved going through your list. I am reading Teresa of Avila this year too but Her Interior Castle.. I attended a long retreat last summer where we review that book and studied Teresa. I want to revisit is and slowly savor more of her thoughts this year.
I too am a huge reader and have lots of books going at once. One thing i am doing though this is is selecting three books to reread with more depth and application. I read a couple of chapters, takes notes and journal. Interior Castle is one of those. The other two are John 14 in the bible and The Cloud of the Unknowing by Butcher.
Please keep sharing your list periodically. I really enjoyed seeing what you are reading.
Teri Lynne Underwood says
Thank you, Jean! I have about 15ish books I read almost every year. The Rest of God has become one of them. BUt I love the idea of choosing three to re-read with intention. I may adopt that plan as well.
